![]() 2 Instructions on How to Draw Human Body Proportions.1 An Easy Guide to Correctly Drawing Human Proportions.Again, body types differ in various ways, however, understanding the general process of forming the male and female body can be tweaked and changed in various ways to create different body variations for both the male and female structures. Understanding how to create a female and male body drawing that is comparable to one another is a helpful exercise that teaches you how to gauge height and width in their generalized structures for both the male and female body. However, in this tutorial, we will be drawing the body proportions of a male and female. This is a great skill to learn because once you understand how to capture the human body proportions you can tweak and adjust the variables to create all types of body shapes. Capturing the human figure in its correct human body proportions is quite an easy task. This means that there is a general rule of thumb, however, this rule can be altered to suit different human figures. (8) Draw the knees at the 1/4 mark…And as always, the feet are at the bottom line.Human body proportions are very interesting to draw because bodies all differ in their height, widths, and ape-indexes. They aren’t very wide at all, as you can see. (3) Now draw the shoulders just below the head because baby’s have very little neck. (3) Draw the elbow dots a bit above the 3rd line down…and draw the wrist dots a bit below the crotch line. Draw the shoulders 2.5 heads wide…making sure to draw it down far enough to leave room for a neck. Draw notch line between the half and the 1/4 mark (above the half).
